Purpose:

Analyzes a .warp file and creates a 1-bit 'binary' file that is non-zero only in locations where the deformation described by the .warp file has a positive determinant

Usage:

determinant_mask .warp-file output [options]

options:

[-o]

grants permission to overwrite output

where the following definitions apply:

.warp-file

the name of the .warp file

output

the name of the output 1-bit 'binary' file

Examples:

• creates a 1-bit 'binary' file mask that is non-zero whereeever mri.warp has a positive determinant

Comments:

• The program binarymask can be used to apply the mask produced by this program to the output of reslice_warp

Error messages: (alphabetical by case)

Cannot parse argument ____

• check syntax

the - flag cannot be used at the start of the reslice_parameter_file or output file name

• choose a name that does not start with -

unable to parse arguments, argument ____ was expected to consist of a - followed by a single character
